TOM Rutherford, a 25-year-old senior materials requirements planner, married Danielle Brown, a 26-year-old senior project engineer, on Friday July 15, 2016.
How they met: The couple, who now live in Victoria Avenue, met on a night out in Barrow.
Proposal: Tom proposed in October 2013 when the couple were in Australia on a 12-month working holiday visa. They were on a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and Tom hired a private helicopter to take them on a tour of the reef. He then arranged for the helicopter to stop on a private island in the middle of the reef and proposed whilst they enjoyed a picnic on the beach.

Bride's Outfit: A Mori Lee dress and veil from Eternity by Nina in Barrow. Danielle paired the dress with Kurt Geiger wedding shoes.
