The Barrow and District Motorcycle club held tits annual Frank Jackson Trial near Torver.
The route took in some of the areas that make up the sections for the Lakes Two Day Trial.
Fortunately the snow did hold off and over 60 hardy competitors competed in finger numbing conditions over the three routes marked out by the club.
Overnight rain did make some sections difficult, but everyone seemed to cope well.
Less than three marks separated the top three riders in each class.
Grasmere's Stephen Dixon took the honours on the hard course by just three marks whilst Kendal's Rob Shuttleworth took the win on the Green by a mere two marks.
The clubmen had a close tussle on the Clubmans' course too, again with just two marks separating winner Martin Peck from Lancs and Carnforth's Mark Quinn.
As always the club would like to thank all the observers, landowners and officials etc that braved the cold weather to make the event possible.
