A PET owl has returned to her home in Dalton after three days missing.
Mike Kernaghan's owl, Luna, flew away on Friday after she was being put into an aviary.
Luna is a three and a half month old white barn owl and returned home this evening.
Mr Kernaghan had appealed for the public's help in tracing his missing pet.

The 24-year-old said: "She came five doors up and flew straight to us when she heard us.
"She was absolutely fine, just hungry and dirty from a rough few nights.
"She's glad to be home."
