A MAN has been bailed by police after a five-car crash on the A590 at Lindal.
Police and firefighters were called to the A590 at Lindal in the early hours of Sunday morning after a collision involving a Ford Focus and several parked cars. It is understood the Focus collided with at least four cars close to Railway Terrace at around 4am on Sunday.

One resident told the Evening Mail: "I heard it all first and then when I went down the police had just arrived and blocked the road off.
"There were about six parked cars and I think he must have hit four of them. It looks like he caught the Land Rover and then spun and smashed into the other ones further down."
Police arrested a 27-year-old man from the Huddersfield area on suspicion of assault and failing to provide a breath specimen. He has since been bailed until November 17.
