PEOPLE have been urged to keep an eye out for a missing family dog.
Two-year-old Betty was last known to be at Molyneux auto service in Dalton.
Her owners said she is a “lovely, friendly dog” however she might shy away from strangers. The best way to make friends and approach Betty is to offer her some food.
UPDATE: Owner can 'stop crying now' dog has been found
Betty has been missing since 9am this morning Thursday July 6.
Claire Robinson and her partner Chris are away until Monday. They suspect that Betty has gone looking for them.
Betty suffers from meningitis and has other issues so she needs medication every day to keep her happy and well.
Claire, who lives in Kirkby-in-Furness, asks that everyone keep an eye out for Betty.
She said: “She’s timid but really soft and will come to you if you have food.”
If anyone finds Betty, please ring Keith at Molyneux auto service on 01229 821308.
