A BELOVED family pet who had gone missing has been found.
The search was on for two-year-old Betty who went missing from Molyneux auto service in Dalton, at 9am this morning, Thursday July 6.
Claire Robinson and her partner Chris are away until Monday and they suspected that Betty had gone looking for them.
At around 3pm Betty was found at Dowdales School.
Betty’s owners were very worried about her as she suffers from meningitis and has other issues so she needs medication every day to keep her happy and well.
Fortunately Claire’s daughter was able to pick Betty up and take her home safely.
Claire said thank you to everyone who's looked for her.
She said: “I can stop crying now and breathe.”
