PUPILS at Walney School took part in a 2003 puppet-making project which was run in conjunction with the Barrow Community Learning Partnership.
The youngsters were helped by the school's visiting artists Rose Furlonger, Fiona Wyles and Lisa Wilson of Morph Masks and Visual Theatre.
They created tiny, life-size and giant puppets as part of a Coming to Life theme.
The pupils pictured are, from left, Callum Lipputt, Adam Harrison, Laura Whelan, Grace Williamson and Joe Slater.
They used papier mache, fabric, wire and acrylic sheet to make a cast of puppets to be used in a school drama performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Roald Dahl’s The BFG.
