Barrow's 99 Cabaret Club, in Dalkeith Street, Barrow, hosted a Big Pop Night, featuring the Carnaby Squares, Patents Pending, Smythe Bros, Gary Walker and The Ronettes from America.
Barrow Rugby League Club signed St Helens second row forward Joe Robinson, aged 20.
