ASKAM RLFC raised more than £2,000 for charities after holding a special Ladies Day.
The Villagers wore a custom-made pink strip for their National Confernece Division match against Stanningley at Fallowfield Park, which they won 40-20.
They also organised a series of events around the match and, although there was heavy rain throughout the day, managed to raise a total of £2274.25.
This was split between St Mary's Hospice and Furness General Oncology Unit. Representatives were presented within their cheques by Askam secretary Jane Alexander.
