BALL number one will be the one for Barrow Raiders fans to keep an eye on tomorrow night when the draw for the fourth round of this year’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup takes place.

Raiders eased into this stage with a 60-6 home win over amateurs Rochdale Mayfield yesterday and now progress to the stage, which sees the Kingstone Press Championship sides enter.

Head coach Paul Crarey is hoping for another home tie for Barrow against either one of the big-name Championship sides or one of their League One counterparts.

The high-profile clubs in the draw are Hull Kingston Rovers and Bradford Bulls – balls number nine and three respectively – while London Broncos, coached by ex-Barrow skipper Andrew Henderson, are ball number 12.

Other teams to watch out for in the draw are overseas sides Toronto Wolfpack (20) and Toulouse Olympique (21), while the last remaining amateur side in this year’s Challenge Cup, Haydock, are ball number eight.

The draw takes place at 7pm tomorrow night on board Barrow-built Royal Navy attack ship HMS Bulwark, and is being streamed live on the BBC Sport website.

It will be conducted by the Royal Marines’ Major Jack Duckitt – chairman of the Royal Marine Rugby League Association and vice-chairman of the Royal Navy Rugby League Association – and former Great Britain and St Helens captain Paul Sculthorpe MBE.
