ONE of the most-talked about sporting events of the summer is coming to a cinema near you.
The Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor fight is being screened live at Barrow's Vue cinema on Saturday night-Sunday morning.
Mayweather, who holds a perfect 49-0 record and won 12 world titles across five weight divisions before retiring undefeated in 2015, is considered one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers in history.
His opponent from the world of Mixed Martial Arts, McGregor, is the current UFC lightweight champion. The Irishman has never taken part in a professional boxing match, but at the peak of his powers, he's determined to cause an upset.
The clash between the worlds of professional boxing and UFC will be streamed live from Las Vegas directly on to the big screen, meaning fight fans can see every round in high definition and in luxurious stadium seating.
The Barrow screening, for over-18s only, begins at 11.45pm and tickets can be booked at www.myvue.com or on a 24-hour booking line at 08712 240240.
