THE continued wet weather in South Cumbria has all but wiped out Saturday's amateur football fixtures.
Matches in the West Lancs and Furness Premier League have suffered, as rain has left pitches waterlogged.
Only Bootle's Millholme ground - which recently underwent work to install new drainage - has stood up to the downpours.
Bootle reserves host FC Barrow Island in Furness Premier League Division Two in a 2pm kick-off.
A total of 16 games in the Furness Premier League, across league and cup competitions, have been postponed.
In the West Lancs Premier Division, Crooklands Casuals' match at Charnock Richard survived, as did Askam United's trip to Ladybridge in Division One, but all the other Furness sides were left with a blank weekend.
