THE sports-loving South Cumbria community are being invited to help celebrate local success stories.
The Evening Mail have teamed up with Barrow firm Furness Heating Components to reward outstanding sporting achievements.
Furness Heating Components have long been associated with supporting local sport, and have very kindly donated a monthly cash prize for a Sports Performance of the Month award.
We will be scouring the local sporting scene for candidates, but we also need your help to make it happen by nominating either individuals and teams who you think have excelled – either in a one-off event or over a period of time.
The prize is open to all age groups and covers the entire Evening Mail circulation area from Grange in the south, Holmrook in the north and Ambleside in the east. Winners will be chosen by our expert panel of judges.
