Barrow AFC have announced that tickets bought in advance of the postponed game against Dover Athletic at Holker Street will be valid for whenever the clash with the Whites is rearranged.
That applies to tickets either bought online or in person, although supporters in both categories can request a refund, either by emailing r.sutherland@barrowafc.co.uk with their order number or by visiting the club’s reception.
The Bluebirds had sold over 400 tickets for the game, with plenty more expected to take advantage of the offer of reducing adult prices to just £9.
A date for the rearranged game has yet to be confirmed, but is quite likely that if will take place on a Tuesday night.
A club statement said: “The thoughts of all at Barrow AFC are first and foremost with the family and friends of the person killed in the incident at Milton Keynes earlier today – such a tragic incident truly puts a game of football into perspective.
“It goes without saying that everyone at the club was devastated following the postponement of our clash with Dover, after so much time, effort and hard work went into preparing what was set to be a special day.
“The manager and players were also deeply disappointed with the postponement as they looked forward to carrying on their fantastic run of form which could have seen them break further club records.”
