Manager Ian Evatt has again spoke out in praise of the Barrow AFC away supporters, with them set to take a very healthy travelling contingent to National League leaders Bromley on Saturday.

The Bluebirds Trust will be taking a full coach down to South London and with several more Barrow fans likely to make their own way down, there is likely to be a very good number in the away end at Hayes Lane.

Given Bromley is over 320 miles away, that is a superb level of commitment, but it doesn't come as any surprise to Evatt, who was so impressed with the levels of support his team received in the recent victory at Chorley.

Three of AFC's five consecutive victories have come on their travels and they have the remarkable record of leading at half-time in all seven of their away games so far this season, meaning they'll be facing Bromley full of confidence.

Evatt said: "It's fantastic and the away fans are magnificent, I must say.

"To be honest, it's mostly the case with a lot of clubs that the away supporters of a football club and they follow their team through thick and thin and spend a lot of money to travel and they sing their hearts out.

"Hopefully they can do that and hopefully we can make them be proud of us again and come away with some sort of result - hopefully the three points to keep this run going."
