Barrow AFC match winner Scott Quigley was pleased that the Bluebirds got themselves the right result against Yeovil Town in a match were chances were few and far between.
The first half at Holker Street passed by almost without incident but Quigley livened up matters by scoring what turned out to be the winning goal against the Glovers 44 seconds into the second half.
Quigley said: "In the first half, we knew we weren't good enough in every area, but fair play to the defence they kept the clean sheet and that's what we needed to do.
"You're going to get scrappy 1-0 wins in this league and you've just got to make sure you get on the right end of them. The gaffer has brought me in to score goals and to score scrappy goals as well and hopefully that can continue."
