‘Let’s make it the first of many’ that was the message from Barrow AFC skipper MJ Williams ahead of today’s away game against Worthing.
The Bluebirds got their first National League win of the campaign last weekend – a 3-0 home win over Sutton United.
And Williams who opened the scoring in that win, says they need more of the same.
He told the club’s official YouTube channel: “I think the boys needed it (the win). I think we all needed it as a club.
“It’s something to build on now and it’s important that we’ve got the first one and we want to make that run go on for a while now.
“It’s important now that we stay on it. We can’t get carried away.
“Now we’ve got to concentrate on the massive games coming up.
“It’s important that we work hard now, and that we keep putting out performances
“We know it’s going to be a great game today and one I’m looking forward to and I’m sure all the lads are.”
