BARROW Raiders Ladies head into a crucial clash knowing they need to weigh in with more tries.
Raiders are yet to win in the Women’s Super League this term, and face a Leigh side just one place and four points ahead of them in the table.
A disappointing defeat against Featherstone last time out has made things more difficult for the Cumbrians.
But head coach Amanda Wilkinson says it’s all about getting over the tryline from here on in.
She told BBC Radio Cumbria: “I’m just so gutted for the girls, cos they are training hard, they are playing committed, they are doing everything right, but we are just not getting over that tryline enough.
“We were in good ball (against Featherstone) and there were so many opportunities to get over that line and we are just not doing it.
“At the end of the day, the only thing that is going to keep us in the Super League is to get some points on the board, and we are still yet to do that.
“Now it’s all eyes on Leigh.”
