MR reliable Josh Wood is back after missing several games through a broken hand.
The dynamic hooker received the green light this week and replaces Tom Forber, who has returned to his parent club Wigan.
Wood has been sorely missed in the middle of the field and for a small man, he fears no one, and when an opponent is tackled, he is tackled by the no nonsense number nine
However, Matty Costello is once more ruled out through injury.
The second row forward left the field early in the first half in the defeat at the hands of Newcastle last week (6-30).
Also boosting the forwards is the return of on loan from Toulouse, Ellis Gillam a Barrow-born favourite with the fans.
Fin Dutton-Rosconie is also back in contention, but Crarey will probably go with Wood and Bishop in the number nine roles.
Bishop has been in good form starting in the line-up in Wood’s absence.
And another boost for Crarey is Tom Walker’s return to the fold after he missed last week's game as his wife gave birth the previous day.
Crarey said ahead of the trip to Widnes today (Kick-Off 5pm): “It's good to have Josh (Wood) Ellis (Gillam) and Tom Walker back up front.
“Ellis, who has not seen much Super League action at Toulouse, rang me and asked if there was the chance of him coming home.
“With Tom Forber returning to Wigan and Matty (Costello) ruled out, the timing was right for Wood and Gillam to come into the squad.
“We have a strong 17 to take on Widnes, who we beat 18-6 at home, we will be on a fast track as they have a 3G pitch.
“We will have to step up a gear or two for this one, following last week's defeat by Newcastle where we were second best.
“What was disappointing, we more or less handed them three or four tries. We have to be on the button and be more focused and get the ball to our speedy backs where Shane Toal is rapid off the mark.”
Widnes came back from defeats against Doncaster and Oldham to put over 100 points on struggling North Wales Crusaders last week (116-6). A team that included Barrow loan players Trent Ruddy and Stevie Watson along with Millom's Connor Terrill.
For Widnes, former Super League half-back Danny Richardson ran in a hat-trick of tries and kicked 18 goals from 20 attempts for a personal record-breaking 48 points.
If Barrow are to maintain fourth position in the Championship they cannot afford a Widnes win as they will leapfrog them on points difference.
