AMANDA Wilkinson’s side will be hoping to make the most of home advantage when the kick-off Barrow Raiders double-header tomorrow.

Raiders Ladies take on Featherstone Rovers Ladies at the Northern Competitions Stadium as part of what the club has named a history and heritage day.

Wilkinson’s side have yet to open their account since being promoted to the Women’s Super League, but have started to find their feet in the top flight.

Like Raiders, Rovers are also winless in the league so far this season and are currently a place below the Cumbrians in the table due to a massive points difference.

Raiders will be looking to build on some strong performances so far, despite not getting the results they wanted.

Speaking to the club’s official Facebook Page ahead of the clash Wilkinson said: “I think we are going to find this season that every game we go into is a big game.

“I think we have started the season well. I think we are starting to get ourselves into good momentum now.

“I think we really peaked against Warrington even though we didn’t come away with the points.

“We’ve just been working on the little things to make sure we get the execution right and hopefully going into the Featherstone game everything will come together.”

Wilkinson has named a 21-woman squad for the clash: Leah Clough, Leah Cottier, Mia Dobson, Demi Fisher, Kelly Friend, Fran Harley, Claire Hutchinson, Emma Hutchinson, Michelle Larkin, Beth Lindsay, Jodie Litherland, Laura Mellon, Jodie Morley, Maddie Neale, Sam Norman, Alice Rush, Hannah Sherlock, Kerrie Ann-Smith, Emily Stirzaker, Vanessa Temple, Charlotte Todhunter.
