BARROW AFC striker Cole Stockton has been praised for getting 'quicker' and 'sharper' by boss Pete Wild.
The 29-year-old striker has scored twice since joining the Bluebirds on loan from Burton Albion in the January transfer window, with the latest of these strikes coming in Barrow's 2-1 midweek defeat at Holker Street by strugglers Forest Green.
Stockton also hit the bar in another impressive performance from the Brewers loanee despite the overall result.
Barrow now prepare to travel to Salford to take on Karl Robinson's Ammies and ahead of this awayday, Wild piled the praise on the Bluebirds' forward.
He said: "Cole is everything we thought he would be, he is getting quicker and sharper with every game.
"He is becoming more of a threat by the game and like I said that is why we brought him here because we thought that he was something we were missing.
"He has certainly added that to his game and we hope that that continues."
