A BARROW Raiders player on loan to St Helens has scored a try against Castleford in his debut game.

Tee Ritson, 27, is on loan from Raiders for the 2023 season. Today's game (26 February) is his official debut for Saints in their game against Castleford.

He scored the try after Jonny Lomax cut through the Tigers and then passed to him on the wing.

Ritson featured in Saint's 30-18 win over St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL pre-season challenge.

Tommy Makinson was ruled out through the concussion protocol meaning that Riston started the game on the wing in his place.

In the 2022 season, the winger scored 33 tries in 31 games to get Raiders to the play-offs.

When Ritson went to Saints, he said that he still loved Barrow and everything the club did for him.

He said: "They’ve been great for me, ever since I signed [at Barrow],"

"I got a lot of support from the club, the staff there, but most importantly my team-mates, who were so welcoming from day one.

"I'm close to a lot of the lads, and it does hold a special place in my heart."
