FORMER Barrow star Tom White has re-signed for The Bluebirds as Mark Cooper makes his third purchase at his new club.
White was part of the AFC side that gained promotion back to the Football League in 2020 and has now put pen to paper on a one-year contract to bring him back to Holker Street.
The midfielder joins from Blackburn Rovers, from where he joined on loan during the 2019/20 season after leaving Ewood Park.
The 24-year-old White will now be adding to his previous 19 appearances for The Bluebirds, with the option of a further year included in his current 12-month deal.
During his loan spell, White became a hugely popular figure with Bluebirds fans thanks to his composure on the ball and his tenacity out of possession.
There was a lot of interest in White, but new boss Cooper persuaded the midfielder to move back to South Cumbria ahead of the 2020/21 season, which begins in August.
