BARROW AFC have announced the signing of Offrande Zanzala on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old striker is manager Mark Cooper’s first signing after taking over at the club last month.
‘I am delighted, I can’t wait to get going at a club that’s got great ambitions,” Zanzala said
“I am looking to push on with goals and helping the team.”
The Congolese forward played 22 games last season for Cumbrian rivals, Carlisle United.
He became a fans’ favourite at Brunton Park, scoring five goals and was noted for his hard-working and combative nature.
From the age of 12, Zanzala was nurtured in the Derby County Academy where he progressed through to their Under-21 side and also gained senior experience with loan spells at Stevenage, Chester and Accrington Stanley.
In 2018, Zanzala made his move to Accrington permanent before making a switch to Crewe Alexandra.
