ADAM Walne is in Barrow Raiders' squad to face Hunslet, head coach Paul Crarey has confirmed.

It will be the former Huddersfield Giants prop's second appearance for his new club after debuting in the Challenge Cup defeat to Oldham.

Elsewhere, Jamie Dallimore will miss Sunday's friendly at the South Leeds Stadium, whereas Adam's brother, Jordan, could be in contention after his knock to the head against Roughyeds.

Raiders will be looking to build on last Sunday's friendly win over Workington Town.

Crarey said: "We missed a lot of opportunities to score tries when we looked at the videos of the Workington game. We probably misread situations whereas if we made the right decision we would have walked in."

Despite it only being a friendly, Crarey is expecting a competitive clash against their fellow League 1 club.

He explained: "They are a big side and they’ve got experience as well. In Brown and Brambani, they’ve got two established halves that have played at Championship level so it will be a big test for our young halves.

"It will be a good test and nice to see where Hunslet are at as we have got them for our third game.

"We are looking forward to a different game. Workington were enthusiastic, but to me looked a bit nervous as a young team.

"Hunslet will be more composed and they will see it as massive if they can get a win over us."
