Barrow AFC manager believes Bromley will be a decent prospect from the one they kept at arm's length earlier in the season when they visit Holker Street on Saturday evening.

The Bluebirds had rebuilt from a difficult start to the season by the start of the October, when they visited Hayes Lane, where they served an early notice that they could beat the best teams in the National League on their own patch.

Bromley were top of the division at the time, but the tables have well and truly turned since and AFC could dish out a big blow to their visitors' promotion hopes should they complete a league double over them.

There have been several changes of personnel in Neil Smith's side since the last encounter, including the recent departure of Reeco Hackett-Fairchild to League One club Portsmouth.

Evatt said: "Other teams are trying to improve, they're trying to get themselves over the line by whatever means necessary.

"They will be different because they're a lot more direct than they were. There's a big problem for them in that I see that the lad [Chris] Bush is suspended - because they're out of the [FA] Trophy, he'll be suspended for Saturday.

"He takes their long throws from both sides and they're very direct and set-piece-based, so that will be a blow for them but we're having a good look at them this week and we'll formulate a plan."
