After last week’s difficult away trip at league leaders Cockermouth, Hawcoat Park find themselves back on home turf as the take on the Zebras from Workington in Cumbria Division One tomorrow.

Getting the same team every week is proving difficult, which is showing in recent results, but Hawcoat are still managing to get two teams out each week.

It’s all change again this week as Colin Niven joins Adam Grainger and Paul Woodburn in a strong front three. John Donnan return to the second row with his partner Corey Doughty now confirmed.

Joe Rea or Harry Higgins will take on the back row alongside Alfie White and Callum Ramsay.

Will Coles links in with Team GB touch player Elliot McDermott at stand-off ,with Jason Milby and Lewis Sayle in the centres. Benji Platt, Rodney Odandi and Robert Shephard make up the back three, so with a strong bench, the team looks good going into this one.

Furness put up a great fight away at Upper Eden last week after travelling to Kirkby Stephen short, but it will surely be a different story at home as they look for more points this week.

Corne Ells leads the team with ample back-up in the guise of the Mallinson brothers Joe and Will. Dan Moyes’ return to the team will be a lift for the side with Ben Hughes, Danny Speers and James Tyson all showing well this season.

The experience of Cameron McClure will be massive in the pack this week, with Jack Budgen, Josh McBain, Josh Banham and Danny Scott all looking for a start.

Dave Finlayson is making a name for himself in the backs, having started for the Blues in most of their games this year, and will have stalwart Charlie Martin alongside to help steady the ship.

Russ Birch and Dale Lambton will want plenty of ball along with Alex Brown and Dan Sayle, who are more than capable of putting points on the board.

After a close fought win at home to Millom last week, Windermere are back on the road as they travel north to take on Creighton.

Captain Jonny Benson moves into the second row, with Paul Mahler taking on his loose forward shirt. Benson will pick up alongside Phil Murphy in the engine room, pushing on the front three of Jamie Hardman, Luke Todd and Tyrone Alderson.

Brad Askam and Greg Mecschino make up the back row, looking to give good clean ball for scrum-half Liam Mckinnon and his fly-half friend Bertie Hodgson.

Full back Miles Fricker will look to join the line between centres Jack Holmes and Moses Dawson, with wing men Liam Garnett and Bobby Davis covering all areas.
