Millom's Devonshire Road ground will be hosting three games at various age groups in the upcoming BARLA Three Counties Championship, which gets under way this week.

With all games live on the OuRLeague app, the championship will kick off at 2pm on Sunday at the home of the Woolybacks when Cumbria under-17s face off against Yorkshire.

The senior competition starts the following weekend, with Cumbria having a tough start against defending champions Lancashire at Leigh Miners on Saturday, November 2, which will be played after the under-19s game between the two counties.

Cumbria, who defeated Lancashire last year, have their only home game at Millom on Saturday, November 9 when Yorkshire come to visit, with the match kicking off at 2pm.

The under-19s match will also be a curtain-raiser for that as well, with the game starting at 12:30pm.

This year's 'War of the Roses' match between Yorkshire and Lancashire will round off the championship at Heworth on Sunday, November 17 at 2:30pm.

BARLA vice chairman Steve Manning said: “It is a great opportunity for the players from all the three counties to showcase their bravery and skills on a wider platform to audiences who can’t get to the games which we would encourage them to do, and to a new audience that has yet hasn’t been introduced to the amateur game."
