Vickerstown played the one remaining game in the Lancashire Shield last Saturday and they found safe passage to the second round with a 4-1 win away at Winstanley Warriors.

Askam United sit top of Division One of the West Lancashire League following a 5-1 home thumping of Haslingden St Marys. Callum Rayner put Askam 1-0 up before Haslingden equalised, but Harry Bolton restored the lead prior to half-time. Askam rounded off the win in the second half with goals from Ben Phizacklea, Sam Purslow and a second from Bolton.

Hawcoat Park won their local derby with Crookslands Casuals 3-0. Hackan McCracken put Hawcoat one up before goals from Jack Milburn in the 89th minute and Carl Mackay in the 90th sealed the points.

Ulverston Rangers lost 4-0 away at Eagley, but Millom beat another side above them in the table as they ran out 2-0 winners against Horwich St Marys, as Jamie Pattinson continued his good form with a goal and Theo Dreghorn grabbed the second.

Walney Island are top of the Second Division and they came from behind to beat Longridge Town reserves 3-1. with goals coming from the returning Sam Clayton and a Zach Walker double, which included a penalty.

Furness Cavaliers picked up a point on the road at Burnley United thanks to a Gareth Killip strike in a 1-1 draw.

A depleted Dalton United also came back up the M6 with a point following their 2-2 draw at Charnock Richard reserves, with Scott McDonald and Robbie McMurdo on target.

Result of the day goes to Furness Rovers who bagged a dozen goals in a 12-0 demolition job of Storeys FC. Ryan Fagan (3), Liam Shields (2), Richie Sandham (2), Jack Stoker (2), Joe Tindale, Rob While and Josh Jones kept the scoreboard ticking over all afternoon.

Holker Old Boys A swept aside Barrow Wanderers reserves 7-0 in Division Two of the Furness Premier League. Hayden Chapman (2), Chris Barrett (2), Ben Wallace, James Curtis and Sam Williamson shared out the goals,
