Barrow's Liam Livingstone helped Lancashire back into Division One of the County Championship at the first time of asking after they thrashed Derbyshire by an innings and 45 runs at Old Trafford.
Lancashire resumed on day three on 269-2, in reply to Derbyshire's first innings score of 244, but Livingstone fell on 71 when he was caught behind off Ravi Rampaul.
The hosts were bowled out for 418, Josh Bohannon top-scoring with a fantastic 174 off 283 balls, giving them a lead of 174 runs.
Derbyshire were then skittled for just 129 with two overs of the day to spare, as Tom Bailey took 3-14 and spinners Matt Parkinson and Glenn Maxwell claimed 3-28 and 3-39, respectively to help seal promotion.
