With the new NFL campaign about to kick off across the Atlantic, Furness Phantoms are looking to boost their numbers ahead of the 2020 season and are hosting a rookie try out day on Sunday.
This is a great chance to give American Football a go at the only club in the Furness area.
Qualified coaches will take you through all the different positional drills. You only need boots and a gum shield is always preferable, and even if you don’t have boots you can still get involved.
Training sessions are every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm and every Sunday (excluding game days) from 10:30am-12.30pm at GSK Sport & Social Club in Ulverston, which is also the start time for the rookie try-outs. Everyone is always welcome to show up and get involved.
