Barrow AFC manager Ian Evatt refused to be drawn into criticising referee Gareth Rhodes, after the controversial penalty he awarded in Monday's 2-1 defeat against FC Halifax Town proved to be decisive.
Rhodes pointed to the spot when Halifax's Josh King tumbled under Sam Hird's challenge with Liam McAlinden subsequently putting the visitors ahead.
The majority of Holker Street were then up in arms when Rhodes ignored a seemingly much stronger claim when Brad Barry was looked to be clearly tripped in the box as the Bluebirds searched for an equaliser.
Evatt said: "I can't really speak about referees, to be honest.
I don't want to speak about referees because I'll get myself in trouble, but I think the whole stadium saw what happened out there today."
