Barrow light heavyweight Liam Conroy will be taking part in the Golden Contract tournament this autumn, joining his last opponent Steven Ward in the mix.
The 27-year-old former English champion was involved in a Fight of the Year candidate against Ward at Belfast's Ulster Hall in June, losing out by just one point in what was a bout for the European title.
Conroy joins Ward, Bob Ajisafe, Hosea Burton and Serge Michel as the names confirmed for the tournament for which the quarter finals take place in October and November.
The winner of the tournament, also being held in the featherweight and super lightweight divisions, will earn a two-year, five-fight contract with MTK Global, with fighters not discovering opponents until a week before their bouts.
