Barrow Raiders head coach Paul Crarey appreciated the standing ovation his players received following their 24-16 defeat against York City Knights last Sunday.
Although the result pushed Raiders closer to relegation from the Championship, the supporters at Craven Park gave credit to what was one of their team's better performances of the season.
Crarey said: "Everyone that was here was brilliant after the game - the fans clapped all our boys and while I was walking down the steps people were telling me what a great game they thought it was.
"It was a great spectacle for this division. The completion rates were massive from both sides, it was end-to-end.
"We got done a couple of times, but we probably could have been more clinical, as we had some clear-cut chances that we didn't finish."
