Snow White’s Pulse Monday Premier Division hopes suffered a major setback as they threw away a late lead to draw 7-7 with Unbelievable Jeff.

Goals from Scott McDonald (3), Iiain McDonald (2), Luke Dixon and Cohen White looked to be enough for the three points, giving them a 7-5 advantage with only a few minutes remaining.

However, a late collapse allowed Unbelievable Jeff to steal a point, and it could have been worse, White forced to bring down Jeff’s Jason Borwick on the last attack of the game with the goal at his mercy.

Simon Rennie (3), Adam Golightly (2), Jake Reynolds and Jordan Shipley were on the scoresheet for Jeff, with the result meaning Snow White now trail Vibrant FC by two points with the table toppers also holding a game in hand.

In the only other game of the night in the Premiership, defending champions Furness Generals moved up to third, as goals from Ethan Cole (4), Dave Allan (4), Chris Dawson (3), Joe Fiddler and Jordy Hillman saw them beat Haz Beens 13-2. Harrison O’Brien and Ben Faddy replied for the outgunned bottom side.

There were a couple of huge results in the Championship, as two of the top three dropped points.

BTD lost an epic contest with Vote Corbyn 9-8. Strikes from Tom Hilton (4), Charlie Bunting (3) and Lachlan Garnett (2) fired Corbyn into title contention with the victory, while Benteke Fried Chicken missed out on the chance to go top as they drew 9-9 with Foregone Conclusion.

The other game saw Crapoli FC and Egg Fried Reus play out a 10-10 draw, a result that all but ends Egg Fried Reus’ faint championship hopes.
