Only one game takes place tonight in the Barrow and District League - a Cumbria Shield semi-final between Dalton and Barrow Island A at Kelland Park.

Dalton go into the game as hot favourites but the Island are hoping several players can return to boost their camp. The winners will play Millom A in the final.

In the Harry Warman Cup last week, Askam A failed to raise a team against Ulverston A, as did Barrow Island against Dalton.

As a result, Walney Central A host Millom in the semi-finals and Ulverston will play Dalton.

In the league, Millom and Walney fought out a 24-24 draw in a match where Walney gave debuts to under-16 lads Matt Henderson and Jack Stevens.

The first half was fairly even with Cents going in at half-time 14-12 ahead, The second half was nip and tuck throughout, as Walney shot into a 20-12 lead but Millom hit back to within two points.

Cents then stepped up a gear to stretch their lead to 24-18, but the never-say-die attitude of Millom had them draw level with ten minutes left on the clock when they went in under the post to score.

For Millom, Harry Robinson, Ian Armstrong (2) and Roy Mcquistan were the try scorers, while Liam Wright, Jack Stevens (2) and Adam Ford (2) all crossed the whitewash for Walney.

The draw has been made for the CJS Knockout Cup, with Ulverston hosting Dalton and Millom travelling to Barrow Island. Walney and Askam have byes.
