BARROW'S queen of football Georgia Stanway scored one goal and was named as player of the match as Manchester City won the Women's FA Cup final.
The 20-year-old was at the centre of everything good City did as they beat West Ham United 3-0 at Wembley in a game watched by a record 43,000 in the stadium and a TV audience of millions.
Keira Walsh's bouncing strike from outside the area put City ahead in the second half, after major final debutants West Ham had initially defied their underdog status with an impressive first-half display.
Late goals from the outstanding Stanway and Lauren Hemp completed the win, securing the club's sixth major trophy.
