AN army of knights has invaded Barrow ahead of Hartlepool's clash with AFC at Holker Street.
In line with their end-of-season fancy dress tradition around 1,000 Hartlepool fans have travelled to Barrow dressed as knights in a nod to St George’s Day on April 23.
Their fancy dress theme for this season's final away game prompted AFC bosses to post a tongue-in-cheek 'sword policy' reminding supporters that any props which could be used as a weapon will not be allowed inside the ground.
Over the years Poolies have used the last away game to dress up as Thunderbirds, Star Wars stormtroopers, Smurfs, Oompa Loompas, Penguins and Where’s Wallys.
