HAWCOAT Park are aiming to avenge their previous defeat to St Benedicts when they host the Whitehaven-based club in Cumbria League One tomorrow, writes Jason Meadows.

Paul Woodburn is welcomed back into the Hawcoat team after a fall last Saturday ruled him out of the defeat away to Aspatria at the last minute.

Joining him in the front row will be regulars Andy Kent and Adam Grainger.

Another big lift for the side comes in the form of the return of Ash Mowatt, who will be looking to make a dominant impression at the set piece alongside second row regular Jack Sutherland.

Brad Morrow, Mike Lightfoot and Matt Sayle complete the pack in the back row.

Jack Shannon and Scott Kaigan continue what is looking to be a steady partnership.

It’s all change on the wings, however, as the Maroon & Whites welcome back both Lewis Sayle and Elliot McDermott, who will have George Smith and Chris Burns in the centre field.

Benji Platt is at full-back, but it is on the bench where there could be a surprise or two.

Having not played last week due to Clitheroe 2 being unable to raise a side, Hawcoat Park A head south to face Bolton 3.

The team is yet to be finalised, but up-and-coming duo Jordan Bayliff and Cory Doughty continue, while Jay Crowe and Adam Williamson, Jason Milby and Robert Shephard return.
