MILLOM reserves kept in touch with the top-five in the Furness Premier Division with a 3-1 home win over Furness Cavaliers reserves.
Victory at Devonshire Road leaves Millom just three points behind fifth-placed Barrow Celtic, and six behind Swarthmoor, in second.
Lee Postlethwaite, Chris Wood and Josh Keen all hit the target for the hosts – who were playing their first game since December 9 – with a Matt Hargreaves penalty the Cavaliers reply.
Cavs – who had not played since December 2 as a result of postponements – would have overtaken their opponents in the standings with victory, but are now four points behind them in ninth. They do have a game in hand.
