Thank you for your flyer received May 28 re Covid.
I have seen vast political changes in my 80 years. However, nothing like the present.
May I observe that the Conservative party have never been so divided since the Liberal party came to power in the 19th century.
At one time disputes were settled over Port and cigars at the Carlton club.
But Mr. Johnson’s dogged defence of his chief adviser is only an iceberg-tip, concealing fatality.
Exposed now more than ever is the obsolescence of your Parliamentary system.
It is only a pretence at democracy.
True democracy is controlled locally, from the bottom, not imposed by central government.
