A YOUNG boy from Walney has become an overnight web sensation after filming himself using a Nerf gun to pull out a wobbly tooth.

St Columbas pupil Remi Corkill asked his mum Lisa for permission before carrying out the toe-curling procedure.

The tooth, which was very close to falling out, eventually came out but has not been found since the unusual extraction process.

Mrs Corkill, 37, of Rother Green, Walney, was persuaded to post nine-year-old Remi's video on Facebook so her son could try to garner as much attention as his talented sister Paris.

Mrs Corkill said: "Remi asked me if he could do it with his tooth because he'd seen someone do ta similar thing on TV. It was very wobbly so it was about to come out.

"He saw videos Paris had put up and he told her 'I'm going to win you'. The number of people who have watched both videos is unbelievable."

Paris, a 17-year-old sixth form pupil, has auditioned for the X Factor in the past, although never made it to the boot camp stage.

The teenager regularly posts videos online showing off her singing talents.

Mrs Corkill added: "So many people have been messaging me about it and talking about it, I couldn't believe it when I saw how many people had watched their videos.

"Paris does it all the time, recording videos of herself singing, she loves singing and would love to do it professionally but she's got the attitude that if it happens, it happens.

"It was just a massive coincidence that they both did the videos on the same day. Remi said he wanted to be famous like his sister. He persuaded me to put it on Facebook.

"I looked on my phone this morning and both have had more than 2,000 views."
