POLICE attended a Walney property following the sudden death of a 65-year-old man.
Officers were called out at around 11am yesterday (8) to an address in West Shore Park.
An eye witness told The Mail: "Police are currently guarding the property and CID came earlier.
"Police went in and when they came out they put blue gloves on.
"Ambulances arrived before and paramedics went in the house but came out after about five minutes.
"They got straight in because the door wasn't locked."
A spokesperson for Cumbria police said: "Cumbria Constabulary attended an address in West Shore Park, Barrow, following the sudden death of a 65-year-old man.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
The Mail is working with the police to establish whether the man can be identified. They have said the death has been referred to the coroner.
