POLICE are investigating after a man was verbally abused and threatened outside his allotment in Ulverston.
The incident happened at around 2pm yesterday as the man left the garden terrace allotments in Star Street.
The man was verbally abused and threatened by a man described as being in his 50s, with brown and grey receding hair who was wearing a red short-sleeved top and shorts. He was last seen heading down Sun Street.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
