A MAN has been jailed for 12 weeks after admitting using three different phones to contact his ex despite being given a restraining order.
Karl Norman Jackson, of New Market Street in Ulverston, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order on a number of occasions between January 23 and February 13 of this year.
At Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday, the 28-year-old admitted sending Danielle Wall a number of text messages from three different phones, which he was banned from doing after being given a restraining order on June 15 of last year.
Jackson was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
