A MAN has appeared before magistrates accused of drugs offences after being arrested at a south Lakes railway station.
Anthony Nurse, of Hurstlyn Road, Liverpool, is charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The 23-year-old did not enter a plea when he appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court on Saturday February 25.
Nurse was arrested at Ulverston Railway Station on Friday February 24 by Cumbria police.
Bail was denied by magistrates and the case was referred to Preston Crown Court. Nurse will remain in custody until his court date in Preston on Friday March 31.
