Jet2 has announced new flights to Burgas, Bulgaria, giving travellers more options for their next getaway.
The expanded flight programme, now available from 11 UK airports, includes departures from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, and Manchester, and is designed to offer greater choice and flexibility for passengers.
The announcement comes as thousands of Eurovision fans are expected to travel to Burgas for the 2027 song contest, which will be held at Arena Burgas.
David Hills, chief customer officer at Jet2, said: "Eurovision is one of the most exciting events in the entertainment calendar, and with additional departures from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow and Manchester airports, we are giving UK fans even more opportunities to travel to Burgas for the 2027 contest.
"With flights from 11 UK airports, six exclusive routes and a choice of departure dates across Eurovision week, customers and independent travel agents have more choice and flexibility than ever when planning their trip, whether they are travelling for the Semi-Finals, the Grand Final or a longer stay.
"Flights are on sale now, so we encourage fans to book early and secure their place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027."
The additional flights are timed to coincide with Eurovision week, including the semi-finals on May 11 and 13 and the grand final on May 15.
Jet2’s expanded schedule means fans can travel to Burgas for part or all of the Eurovision celebrations, or simply enjoy a holiday on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.
The Burgas route will also operate from Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, and London Stansted, all of which are exclusive to Jet2, as well as Bristol, Newcastle, and London Gatwick.
Burgas, a coastal city known for its beaches and relaxed atmosphere, is expected to welcome thousands of international visitors for the first Eurovision Song Contest ever held in Bulgaria.
In addition to the main arena events, the city will host a Eurovision Village and EuroClub, with a full programme of public activities throughout the week.
Jet2 is encouraging fans to book early to secure their seats, given the expected high demand during Eurovision week.
