A MAN from Millom is due to appear in court after being charged with drink-driving and failing to stop after crashing into the railings of a primary school.
Joshua Robert Lindsay, of Lapstone Road in Millom, will appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
The 24-year-old has been charged with driving a car on January 29 of this year with an alcohol level of 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He is also accused of failing to stop after crashing into the railings of Black Combe School in Palmers Lane and failing to report the collision.
