A TESCO worker is thrilled at the amount of money raised for good causes by the Bags of Help scheme.
Millom Tesco has now donated £43,825 through the project. The money is raised from the 5p plastic bag charge and shoppers get to choose from three different groups every month.
The June to July's lucky recipients were the Parents and Carers Disability Group in Millom, Millom Bowling Club, and Fix the Fells.
Maxine Lawford, charity manager at the store said: "I am so pleased that we have been able to raise this amount of money."
