THE Great North Air Ambulance was called after a 10-year-old boy suffered serious burns in South Cumbria.
Paramedics were called to an address near Ambleside at 9.50am this morning after the boy sustained serious burns in a scalding.
The boy was flown by the air ambulance to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.
The journey took 25 minutes and the boy's condition was described as stable on arrival.
